Sam, 63, died by suicide earlier this month, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, warmth, and extraordinary service that spanned nearly four decades.
To those who knew him, Sam was more than just a Realtor—he was a trusted guide, a mentor, and a genuine presence. He poured his heart into helping others, often turning real estate dreams into realities that once felt out of reach. Whether it was a first-time buyer or a longtime friend, Sam treated everyone with the same care, focus, and drive.
His passion for the business was matched only by the pride he felt working alongside his sons, George and Panos. Together, they built the Anagnostou Team into a family-led powerhouse under Compass Real Estate. Their shared vision wasn’t just about homes—it was about community, relationships, and legacy.
Beyond work, Sam was full of life. He found peace and joy in nature—surfing, boating, riding motorcycles—and was the kind of person who could light up a room with his energy and kindness. He made people feel seen and important, and that gift left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
His death has left an undeniable void, and as those close to him grieve, many are also reflecting on the importance of mental health.
